Log ing to M-Files
Launch the M-Capture app and connect to your M-Files server and your Vault.
Taking captures
Once connected, you can take pictures, videos, scan documents.
Send them
Send it all to M-Files.
For M-Files administrators
To easily organize your captures without user interaction in the M-Capture mobile app, we have defined aliases that you can simply add to your M-Files vault configuration..
Add the M-Scan alias to the M-Files class that should store the scanned .pdf documents from the app.
Add the M-Photos alias to the M-Files class that should store the photos sent from the app.
Add the M-Videos alias to the M-Files class that should store the videos sent from the app.
You can add several aliases to the same class by separating them with a ; For example: M-Photos; M-Videos
If you do not add aliases to your classes, the captures will be stored in the "Documents" class (ID 0).
If you want to retrieve the GPS coordinates of captures sent from the app, then add the following aliases:
M-Longitude, Data Type: Text
M-Latitude, Data Type: Text
Important: If you change the alias configuration, it is necessary to log out of M-Capture and log in again to get the new configuration.
The M-Files metadata "Comment" (ID 33) is used to store comments entered when sending captures.
